Why not challenge your team to a specialised strength and conditioning cross training session. As a fully qualified exercise specialist and group fitness coordinator I would like to offer this sports specific soccer fitness session structured to increase an athletes strength and VO2Max (Maximal Oxygen Consumption) by 20% whilst participating in an aerobic exercise. This enables an athlete to compete at a higher intensity for longer periods of time which will give your team an advantage over any opposition.

 

Recommended for:

 

  • Pre-season training to build a good base fitness for the season ahead
  • During the season to break up training repetitions
  • When council grounds are closed due to bad weather
  • Team bonding and moral boosting sessions

 

Combining my qualifications in Advanced Aerobic Conditioning, Advanced Resistance Training and Nutritional Weight Management along with being a professional soccer player for 14 years in Europe and Australia I know what it takes to get your body into a good physical condition to perform at its best on the soccer field.

 

My program structure:

 

  • Dynamic warm up exercises
  • 50 minutes strength and conditioning cross training
  • 20 minutes skill and technical ball work
  • Active cool down

 

Overall you will find this session very beneficial for your teams fitness and performance.

 

Soccer Fitness Sessions are available to all ages and abilities with an option of indoor or outdoor sessions depending on your teams needs. (minimum of 15 participants per session required)

 

All sessions are designed and run by Mark Robertson a former Socceroo and registered Fitness Australia Professional.
